AM: Hokule’a departs Mukuno harbor at Oshima
PM: Hokule’a arrives Miyajima (Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima). Crewmembers will visit Itsukusima-Jinja (UNESCO World Heritage Shinto shrine about maritime affair).
May 23
AM: Hokule’a departs Miyajima, then arrives Kan-non Marina (Hiroshima City). Canoes, yachts and Utasebune (a kind of Japanese traditional sailing ship for fishing) will greet Hokule’a on the sea. Then welcome ceremony will be held at the marina.
PM: Crewmembers will visit Hiroshima Peace Site and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
Night: Reception at the marina. Anyone can join this.
